Radial Breath
Introduction
This release serves as the threshold piece into the Mandala Machine Field Notes ecosystem. It does not ask the viewer to begin something new—but to notice what is already breathing them.
Breath as the first interface between body and world.
Opening Context
Radial Breath appears before coherence fully settles. It is the visible phase of a deeper organizing principle—where expansion and return have not yet resolved into stillness.
This Field Note isolates that moment: the outward pulse, the subtle reaching, the system testing its own perimeter. It is not the center—it is what happens just before the center becomes known. Rather than holding you still within your breath, this work allows you to witness the formation of it.
Core Concept
Radial Breath is structured around cyclical expansion from a central origin point. Each pulse extends outward in evenly distributed vectors, maintaining symmetry while continuously changing scale. This is not a static mandala—it is a breathing field.
Similar patterns can be observed in:
- the dilation of lungs during inhalation
- ripples moving across water from a single point
- electromagnetic waves propagating through space
The system is simple: expand, pause, return. But within repetition, variation begins to appear.
Pattern Fragments
Generated through iterative radial symmetry fields, rendering semi-radial rather than complete circles and softened with noise diffusion to disrupt perfect geometry and allow organic variance.

Closing Mark
The center is not shown—only approached.
- Radial Breath — Field Note 000
- Mandala Machine Satellite Transmission
- Earth Cycle: 2026.03
The expansion rate was intentionally slowed beyond natural breathing tempo to create perceptual drift
Early iterations felt mechanical—subtle irregularities were introduced to restore organic rhythm
The center point was softened, not fixed, allowing the origin to feel emergent rather than imposed
